Project Summary
This theater was designed from the ground up to have beautiful details within the theater as well as unprecedented audio quality. The Seleco Front projection CRT was chosen for its optimal performance in picture quality and black levels. The front main speakers are located behind the fabric inlays flanking the audio screen that hinds the two center speakers. We used four Di-Polar on-wall speakers for the main surrounds and an additional pair for the back surrounds. All the equipment is hidden away in the mechanical room using the Control4 Media Controller to operate everything. The bass is delivered by four 15" Kicker subwoofers in custom designed boxes tuned to the room. There are also two additional 12" Kicker Solo-Baric woofers mounted to the back platform acting as transducers to deliver the extra "shake" that makes the experience all that much more exciting. All the equipment was chosen to deliver maximum performance within a moderate price range.
