Project Summary
This is a 1994 Mustang Convertible. The trick to this system was to install everything in the car, while retaining the factory look to the trunk and interior. We removed the spare tire and fiberglass reinforced the wheel well and used that space for the subwoofer enclosure. Then, we recessed the amplifiers above the subs with the battery off to the right and the power distruibution center to the left. We hid the amplifiers for the front and rear speakers under the seats in the front. The radio was installed in the factory location and the cigarette lighter was modified to operate the sub level. This system sounds great and has withstood the test of time.
